Dedicated to Waad’s daughter, the documentary can only be described as a grotesque misrepresentation of life in East Aleppo under the tyranny of sectarian armed groups. Anyone watching this movie will assume that East Aleppo was the “free country” as described by Waad, besieged and preyed upon by the Syrian government. The film literally airbrushes Nusra Front from the scenario. Groups like Nour al-Din al-Zenki are not referred to, their crimes go unmentioned.
Israel bombs Damascus as Syrian Arab Army advances in Idlib
During the early hours of Thursday morning (6th February 2020) Israel began a bombing campaign in Damascus and to the south in Daraa which lasted 45 minutes. The first huge explosion woke me up in West Damascus which was the first area to be targeted.

When Waad and Hamza departed Aleppo with Nusra militants, the vast majority of Aleppans celebrated. On the surface, “For Sama” is about romance and childbirth. Underneath it is very political, as interviews with the producers confirmed. For this, it will likely be widely promoted precisely because it gives a distorted picture. To continue the dirty war on Syria, public misunderstanding is required.

This makes the full liberated area in Idilb countryside since the 20th of January 2020 around 660 sq km and puts a new Turkish observation point under siege (Map 3), noting that the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces announced the liberation of 320 sq km less than two months ago .
